Welcome

This is the eigth and first newsletter from Final Frontier Media in 2007. You can find the previous newsletters here. First I will tell you about the latest updates of Final Frontier Media. These news Items will be larger then the newsitem you can read at the website. New in the newsletter is the subject "Opinions". In this part of the newsletter I'll place some opinions from people who visit this site or watch the videos at youtube. Final Frontier Media can't excist without other websites on the net. Therefore there will be a subspace section in every newsletter. In "subspace" I'll tell you something about an other website. Every newsletter will end with some writings from me about my website, or the newsletter or something completely different. At the bottom of the newsletter you can read how to contact me or how you unsubscribe from this newsletter. On the left side you can see an a small table of contents. By clicking on them you can navigate through the newsletter.

News

This is the eigth and first newsletter from Final Frontier Media in 2007. A new year with new opportunities. As every month there were a lot of new updates for this website. In total there were 9 new music videos added, new links added, new youtube links added and most important of all the homepage is renewed.

I'll start with the most important news of all, the renewed homepage. I did receive some tips about how the news section could be more clear. I was irritated about the outlining of the date and the newsitems behind it, it wasn't always right. So now it's renewed, some color in it. There will be less news items at once visible, but old items will be send to the archive. There will be a maximumm of two months visible at the homepage. Also the welcome story is changed. You can now see in an instance how much music videos there are available and how much data is involved in this website.
Offcourse the website is still visible for multiple resolutions, but best seen at 1024 X 768.

More news

The nine music videos are divided into 4 from Mary. S. van Deusen, 3 from Belanna, 1 from ScifiSpace.net and yes, finally one from me. I'll begin with the one from ScifiSpace.net. It's called "closer to heaven". It's a new kind of music video, fresh and uplifting music but still appropriate. This is the first music video from Daniel at my website. The other scifispace.net music videos are created by Roelof P.

There are also three music videos from belanna. I've added "moving it with Neelix", which is a humorous music video, Neelix never was that funny. A very special video is "The ancient legend". It's about Janeway and Chakotay, with the help from some wonderfull artwork and a story from the series, a lovely music video. Finally added today is  "it's the starfleet way", this is a music video from the episode living witness. A good music video. Future videos can be expected from belanna.

Then are there yet another 4 music videos from Mary. Mary has a huge collection of mostly TOS music videos, and her section at this website is already bigger then the whole music video section was in the beginning of 2006. All the four music videos from her are good and I'm personally looking forward to new ones. Her new music videos added this month are: "God lives on terra" (about picard and Earth beauty), "Manchild lullabye" (about Kirk and Spock), "Forever young"(About captain Kirk) and "Desperado" (about Spock). You can Enjoy her music videos here.

More news

For the first time, there is a third part of this news in the newsletter. The last music videos which is added is one of my own. As predicted in the last newsletter it's finished halfway January and already online. It's something different then most music videos and I won't be surprised if this Music video is the first with the subject Gul Dukat and his daughter Ziyal. The music video is called DS9 Tribute 3: Hurt.

Also in January Youtube is enlarged with some music videos from Final Frontier Media. The music videos from ScifiSpace.net can now be found there, also some music videos from the "other" section are added. Ofcourse my new music video can also be found at youtube.

The last news are the new links that were added this month. You should visit those websites, because the webmaster deserve at least a look to their creations. You can find the new links if you visit the textlinks area, the new links have behind the link the following text "(new)".

Opinions

This is a new part of the newsletter. Every month I'll add some opinions from visitors which they sent to me from the contact form, or opinions added at youtube. So every comment will finally find his way into this newsletter. Some first comment now is about the music video "In Caelum Fero" at youtube. I love it when the comment is good.

Really good selection of clips - some great memories. Fitted together nicely with the music - particularly liked the clips you took as the camera moves around the group in Vic's at the end. Good job. :-)

Very Good. I now want to watch DS9 all over again.

Thank you for bringing old memories back.
Deep Space Nine is my all-time favorite Star Trek series. I was such a big fan of it in my childhood and I was completely falling in love with Bashir.
I love the Julian scene of "Past Tense". One of my favorite episodes ever.
And you have a Eddington pic in it... great!

Future plans

Well as promised, my music video is finished. So, I've started a new project. Due to little music videos from TNG, My next music video will be a TNG one. It will be the first of TNG Í create, but many will follow. The music isn't chosen yet, neither is the subject, but it will be TNG. More in the next newsletter.

As you can see, a new subject is added to the newsletter. I hope I can add two or three new subject this year to the newsletter. I'm thinking about to start an Award section, but that's more then just a monthly award. I'm also still hoping to get some stories from the music video creators, but that's still something for the future. More in the next newsletter.

I'm still looking for people who do create music videos so I can add them to the collection. Also stories or comments about my website are welcome. If you write comments and you want that it will be in the next newsletter, mak sure you write more then a few words. All ideas or comments can be send to me throught the contact form, which you can find here. When you want to publish your music video you can do the same. Your comment can also now be published in the monthly newsletters.

There are several packages for webhosting and the special part is that you can combine several features to create a package with its own price and totally adjusted to your personal needs. Zanjo also provides in you ICT needs, like maintenance or set-up. If your a company or just one person, it doesn't matter. Only one thing, the website is in Dutch. Maybe your next website will be hosted by Zanjo.

The admin

A new year, a new picture. As you can see everything is ok with me. I still have a lot work to be done, but I'm managing my free time to make sure this website gets its regular updates. It's just great to see the website grow by month. I love it to find more sites to add to my website, to find new music videos and to write this newsletters.

also personally life is wonderfull. One happy webmaster is also one happy website. If the webmaster isn't happy, the website will be dull and not shining its light into the world. Although I'm talking rubbish now, but hey. I'm happy and that's what matters. Hope to see you all next month, and maybe with some new members, so pass it on, pass it on.
Dear readers, until next time. Greetings from Zwolle.
