This is the seventh and last newsletter from Final Frontier Media in
2006. You can
find the previous newsletters
here.
First I will
tell you about the latest updates of Final Frontier Media. These news
Items will be larger then the news item you can read at the website. Final Frontier Media can't
exist without other
websites on the net. Therefore there will be a subspace section in
every newsletter. In "subspace" I'll tell you something about an
other website. Every newsletter will end with some writings from me
about my website, or the newsletter or something completely
different. At the bottom of the newsletter you can read how to
contact me or how you unsubscribe from this newsletter. On the left
side you can see an a small table of contents. By clicking on them
you can navigate through the newsletter.
This is the seventh and last newsletter from Final Frontier Media
in 2006. December was a month with a lot of happy holidays and joy.
This mean there could be more done if I had more time. Seven new
music videos, a renewed section, an award and new links.
The first thing I can say to you is about the Award Final
Frontier Media has won. It's already the seventh award I've won. As
you can see this is a month al about sevens. If you look at the
awards the average is somewhere in the middle. I think that's were
my website stands; somewhere in the middle. It's not an outstanding
site, but it's a good website. This award reconfirms it. I'm happy
about the things evolving at my website and I'm happy to see that
there are still people who are contacting me for there music videos.
More about this you can read further ahead in the newsletter.
The second thing to announce are the new links in the link section.
There are only two, but what kind of links. Adge's Star Trek site is
in my opinion one of the greatest Star Trek Sites on the net and is
online for a very long period. The second new link is to RootX. A
Dutch website about computers and all that stuff. It's online for
three years now and has a steady group of supporters and is still
growing.
A new award is presented to Final Frontier Media.

More news
The third thing to talk about is the renewed section Archive.
Maybe one of the most unimportant sections of this website but it
gives an indication about the growth and changes of this website.
Also a little change of the music video section. A music video count
is added. Now you can see how much videos I've about the several
series.
The fourth thing to bring forward is the news about the seven music
videos. I've been contacted some weeks ago by Kris Adkinson. He had
some music videos, which were different from the rest. You can find
his daunting music video at the in the category Other in the music
video section. Here you can also find the new music video from PG15,
again a great Enterprise music video and a TrekUnited.com trailer. I
liked the trailer and connecting with more website can't do any harm.
The other four music videos were created by Mary S. van Deusen. For
the first time I've some TNG music videos from her. They are about
Data, Troi and Yar. I love them a lot, it's something different and
new and therefore a good supplement for this site. The other two
music videos are about Spock and Mccoy. You can find this music
videos in the category Mary. S. van Deusen, in the music videos
section.
As you could read in the last newsletter my work in my new music
video is progressing. I've decided today that I'll stay at the song
I've chosen and it's yet another tribute of DS9. I hope to start
tomorrow or in the next few days. Maybe I can finish it in January,
otherwise you'll hear more about it in the next newsletter.
I have
sent an e-mail around to the music video creators about the new
section for the newsletter. Some creators had reacted positive, and
some negative. Most of the creators don't have answered the mail yet
or are very busy. More about this in the next newsletter.
I'm still looking for people who do create music videos so I can add
them to the collection. Also stories or comments about my website
are welcome. If you write comments and you want that it will be
in the next newsletter, make sure you write more then a few words.
All ideas or comments can be send to me through the contact form,
which you can find
here.
When you want to publish your music video you can do the same.
This time in the subspace bulletin is the website "The Ressikan
Flute". This is just a wonderfull website. An hidden
pearl on Internet. You just can find so much information
about the music of Star Trek, really amazing. From Trek
Composers, CD's, Episodes list and performers to Musical
Trek actors and Higlights. You can find here some audio en
music clips ready to download, this in combination with a
lot of MIDI files gives this site some extra above
everything else. Every subject is worked out perfectly and
the information is very complete. The site is really easy to
navigate to and the information is huge. A unique and
wonderfull website, worth a visit. Unfortunately, this website doesn't exist anymore (14 September 2008)
Well, the last month of the year 2006. Time flies when you're having
fun. Unfortunately I don't have reached my goal of 100 music videos
at the end of the year, but I'll certainly will reach this amount in
2007. At least one of them is a music video from me, and maybe more.
I wish everyone a Happy and Healty 2007 and I hope it will be a good
year for Star Trek and the Music Video business. See you all next
year. Keep coming here and you comments are welcome. Greetings from
Zwolle.
