First I will tell you about the latest updates of Final Frontier
Media. This will be divided into months. In "Music videos of the
month" two music videos will be highlighted every month. In the
Opinions section you can find opinions about music videos which are
stated on YouTube, BBS/Forum or E-mail. The Subspace section will
tell you something about other websites. You can read in "The
Undiscovered Country" something of what I'm going to do in the future
with this website. A new part of the newsletter is "Trexperience".
I will talk about my experience with Star Trek on some level. Every
newsletter will end with some writings from me about my website,
the newsletter or something completely different. At the bottom of
the newsletter you can read how to contact me and how you (un)subscribe
(from) to this newsletter. At the left you can see a small table of
contents. By clicking at it you can navigate through the
newsletter.
This is the 27th newsletter from Final Frontier Media and the
first of 2010. I was very busy in the last months and therefore
there isn't a big update. Only 9 music videos were added with
several small updates, not worthy mentioning.
Again the news is divided into months. This works fine. All though
this time the newsletter won't be very long.
In these two months thus only 9 new music videos. Divided into two
updates. There were new music videos in the categories
Belanna,
StarTrekFans,
Other,
ScifiSpace and
PG15.
Voyager's Hot Rod
Kirk, Beloved subject in Gray's music video in the category Other.
Belanna
is well known for her Star Trek Voyager music videos. This time a
very nice music video about Janeway and Chakotay. Besides scenes
from the series there are also fan made images added. Also the Delta
Flyer, is subject of a music video from
Belanna
this month. Voyager's Hot Rod on the music of the Knight Rider. You can find these videos in the category of
Belanna.
The category StarTrekFans is also updated with two new music videos.
Both music videos are about Star Trek in Common. One music video is
a Western like video. A nice tribute with scenes from the three Star
Trek Western Episodes. The other music video is about everything in
Star Trek. Ready to watch everything all over again? Enjoy these

In the category Other
two new music videos were added. The category is also divided into
three pages in stead off 2. There are two great music videos added.
One from the famous Anonymous. First Contact is subject of the video
and is done beautiful. The second music video is a great slash video
between Spock & Kirk. Very well done. You can find
them in the category Other.
In February only three new music videos were added in the category
ScifiSpace and
PG15.
In the category of
ScifiSpace
the second Star Trek 2009 music video is added. Trekscaper created a
wonderful music video with images from the new movie and from the
original music video of the music artist. The combination is perfect
and the result is marvellous. You can find the videos
here.
In the category of
PG15
two new Enterprise music videos are added, off course. Two great
music videos about Season 3 of the series. The music for both videos
is well chosen. You can find them in the category of
PG15.
StarTrek 2009, subject of Trekscapers music video.
In this 2008 introduced part of the newsletter two music videos are chosen to be
the Music videos of the month. One of the music videos deserve the
recognition because of the statistics. This can be sudden popularity
or just the opposite. The second music video will be one I choose
because of my personal opinion of it. You can see which music video
is popular this month and which are popular overall in the
statistics.
The battle for the music video of the year 2010 is started.
This music video is the most popular music video available on this
website. It's created by Christopher Roberts back in 2006 when Star
Trek celebrated it's 40th anniversary. Since than it's downloaded
over 300 times. This is absolutely deserved. This is a great music
video and really well created. The music is super, the images are
well chosen and the editing is great. There can be only one, and
that's this music video. Enjoy it!
This is my favourite music video created by Linsey. The quality of
the video is medium, unfortunately. But the selection of the scenes
and music is great. All though is unusual, the music fits well. The
video is not the most popular video for the visitors it's on the
206th place with a total of 15 downloads in almost 2 years. This
music video deserves better. Linsey deserver better. Enjoy this
video!
the relationship between Kirk and Spock. The music and
images are pointed at the emotional band between these
characters. This is a high quality "slash" music video.
DS9 and what a legendary serie it is. A fan-made trailer
that could be a paramount trailer. After seeing this video
you want to watch DS9. This music video is of high quality.
All those YouTube responses are gone. Here are the latest
responses on the new YouTube Channel.
Heh, I got about 2 and a half minutes in naming the films of each clip, and then I realized this is a good video and I should just watch it, lol. - Waitingfor2008 about "The Moment"
I'm so happy to see this video back on youtube. It's one of my all time favorite Trek videos. ^^ - Waitingfor2008 about "DS9 Tribute 2 : In Caelum Fero"
This time in the subspace bulletin is the website "Fifth
Voyager".
The website of Fifth Voyager is all about the Fan Fiction
series called Fifth Voyager. A Fan Fiction written and every
story can be seen as an episode in a season. Several
episodes are a season. The Fifth Voyager is based on Star
Trek Voyager but is an alternate timeline. You have B4 Fifth
Voyager what explains more background information for the
characters and you have Fifth Voyager. A site which is
online for many years and redesigned many times. Besides the
written Fan Fiction a guide is created to get more
understanding of this series, furthermore there are
Wallpapers, Quizzes and discussion forums especially for
this serie. You can enjoy yourself for a couple of days or
even weeks and than keep track of any new stories. You can find the site
here.
Again this period I have created a new music video. It looks like
I'll have a new music video ready when the newsletter for February
will be posted. I've chosen the music and the subject. It only needs
to be worked out. You'll see.
AA new year is at hand. As foretold in the last newsletter the Final
Frontier Media Server is replaced with a new one. This happened so
fast and easy that there was no noticeable downtime. Future plans
for 2010 are, a Final Frontier Media Award, to give to other
websites. The possibility to upload your own music videos will
probably be added. I came to this idea because my YouTube account
was disabled. Maybe there will also be more PHP for this website,
but that isn't sure. Last but certainly not least I hope to have at
the end of 2010 more than 400 music videos online.

I'm still looking for people who do create music videos so I can add
them to the collection. Also stories or comments about my website
are welcome. If you write comments and you want that it will be in
the next newsletter, make sure you write more than a few words. All
ideas or comments can be send to me through the contact form, which

here. When you want to publish your music video you can do the
same.
In this new section of the newsletter I will gave my opinion about
something I see or experience in Star Trek. As reader of this
newsletter you can respond by sending me
a message. In this will the
experience will go on, from newsletter to newsletter.
In the last newsletter I asked about the new movie on DVD. It seems
like most people were going to buy the special edition DVD. It's
also the DVD I've chosen to buy.
2009 Was the year were Star Trek was resurrected, but only for a
small time. It seems not a lot of new fans were added to the immense
amount of "old" fans. I could see that in may the amount of visitors
went up, but after that dropped very fast to normal levels. I hope
that they create a new movie soon and if possible in the future a
new series. Only a new series could attract a new and faithful group
of new fans. What is your opinion about this?
Time is going so fast. My personal live is changed a bit. I was
fired this month because of economical reasons, but I've all ready
found a new job and will start in January there. Your whole live is
upside down after such an event. Connect this with Christmas and New
Year and your biological clock is completely out of sync.
BBut after these disturbance in my live I'm back to my normal live.
I'll enjoy my holiday for now. I wish every one a great 2010. That
it may bring Joy, Happiness, Health and everything you hope for.
