This is the 21st newsletter from Final Frontier Media. You can
find the previous newsletters
here.
First I will
tell you about the latest updates of Final Frontier Media. These news
Items will be larger than the news item you can read at the website.
A new part of the newsletter are the "Music videos of the month". Final Frontier Media can't exist without other
websites on the net. Therefore there will be a subspace section in
every newsletter. In "subspace" I'll tell you something about
other websites. Every newsletter will end with some writings from me
about my website, or the newsletter or something completely
different. At the bottom of the newsletter you can read how to
contact me or how you unsubscribe from this newsletter. On the left
side you can see a small table of contents. By clicking on them
you can navigate through the newsletter.
This is the 21st newsletter from Final Frontier Media. It did go
very fast in October. I don't think I had ever so much updates in
just one month. Off course, they weren't all big updates, but it was
all big news. A total of 17 new music videos in the last two months,
the removal of the gallery, six new links added, 16 new images in
the Star Trek 2009 section, a renewed Links section, a renewed
Pictures section and a lot of small updates.
Were to begin, so much done last two months, it's incredible. I'll
start with the new sections. The
Links
section did have a small update. The small text menu is now changed
in a menu similar to that of the
About
section. This way, the website looks more the same. I'm still
searching for a way to create something similar for the
Archive
section. But this has to wait until next year. Another section which
is changed, is the
Pictures
section. In September I removed the gallery. I had too much trouble
with it, in stead off fun. In October I've changed the lay-out of
the existing section. It looks more like the gallery, but you can
only download. Also, the Pictures section was the only section which
didn't had any update since 2003. Enjoy both new sections, the
Links
section and the
Pictures
Section. If
you have a website which is not mentioned in my
Link section?
let me know!
This month also the Star Trek 2009 section is updated. A total of 18
new images are released. Don't you look forward to the movie. Enjoy, click
here
to go there.

More news
Seven new links were added last two months. After a steady period
with not much new links, now a lot of new Star Trek sites are added.
Most sites are of Dutch owners and therefore less interesting for
the international visitors among us. A Dutch site means that the
sites language is in Dutch. There are more Dutch websites, like this
one, who try to deliver a website in English. But they will listed
in the Star Trek sites, portals or other. You can find the new links
in the Links
section.
The gallery is deleted from the website. There were almost no
visitors and I had problems with images and hacks. To secure the
website, clear space I've decided to remove the gallery. It didn't
had the effect I hoped for. It did give me the chance to renew the
Pictures
section, what was really necessary.
Last but certainly not least are the 17 new music videos which are
added in the last two months. In September five new music videos
were added.
Straight talk from
Casper.
One of the few music videos about Janeway and Q. A really nice music
video. From
Belanna the music videos
Secret World and
Love
Opera have been added.
Love
opera is a music video with different music than used to be, but
it suits well.
Secret world is a Janeway & Chakotay lovestory.
Belanna
creates a lot of them and yes, also this one is very good.
More news
The last two music videos added in September were from
Linsey.
Both are the series Enterprise.
Unbreakable stands for the friendship between Captain Archer and
Lieutenant Reed. Lieutenant Reed and his friendship with Commander
Tucker is the subject in the music video
Hold on.
Both are very good music videos. I enjoyed watching them.
The first update in October delivered two music videos created by
Mistyfur. They're called
Who does he love and
Requiem for a dream.
Who does he love goes about Janeway and Seven of nine who both Love Chakotay, but
who does he love? The other music video is about the
love between Chakotay and Janeway, but more story like. Really good.
Also in the category
Scifispace two new music videos about
Enterprise and Voyager are added. Both are created by Daniel.
Whisper is about the
last episode of Star Trek : Voyager. It's and old music video of
medium quality, but still very nice to watch. The other music videos is called
Only Time - Remake. It's a music video about the episode twilight
from Star Trek : Enterprise.
In the category
Other two new Deep Space Nine videos have been added. The
creator wishes to be anonymous, but both music videos are really fun
to watch.
The Magnificent festival is about the Ferengi episode the
magnificent Ferengi. It's a short but real funny music video.
Take me
out to the holosuite is a music video about that episode.
In October the catergory
Linsey was again updated. Music videos
Bounce and
Scared were added.
Bounce is a Malcolm Reed music video.
Quite an active music vide, with Bon Jovi music. Scary things are
the subject in the music video
Scared. A really good music video.
The Moment is the name of the Music Video I created this month. It's
all about the Star Trek Movies, Both TOS and TNG. There's even a
little Star Trek XI in it. The music is from Kenny G. I hope you
Enjoy the music video, I know I will.
The category Belanna also gets a second update this period. The two
new music videos are called
Nature's law and
Like we never loved at
all. Both music videos are about the friendship and love between
commander Chakotay and captain Janeway.
The crew is the name of the new music video created by
Casper.
This music video is about the crew of the Starship Voyager. I really
like this music video, some great moments are put in.
In this new part of the newsletter two music videos are chosen to be
the Music videos of the month. One of the music videos deserve the
recognition because of the statistics. This can be sudden popularity
or just the opposite. The second music video will be one I choose
because of my personal opinion of it.
Coming home is one of the music videos created by Sabatoj. His
creations are directly responsible for the existence of Final
Frontier Media. In the summer period this particular music video was
downloaded a lot and went up 5 places in the Top 50. I'm sure
everybody loves this music video
This music video is a personal favourite of mine. I love the music
which is used. The music video created by Mary is maybe old, but
still very good. It's an emotional music video with good music.
Enjoy it!.
The final chapter of Deep Space Nine. The clip is built up by
scenes from "What You Leave Behind". Excellent choice of music. This is one hell of a clip.
Spock and his father Sarek, the leader of the band. A
very emotional music video. Images ares used from the TOS
and TNG series and from the TOS films. The music video is of high quality.
Again some opinions about the latest music videos. This time some
comments from
Youtube about
Several music videos.
I love DS9 it is my favourite star trek francise. DS9 was an
underatted tv show as it was differnt to the other star trek shows
as they were ships and DS9 was a space station and DS9 was the
darkest out of them all. I think DS9 was the funniest star trek
francise. -
rwarner9 about "DS9
Tribute 2 : In Caelum Fero"
im not much of a Star Trek fan but i do say this is nice. -
ArchMadman about "Closer to heaven"
God, how I love a montage! Just about anything coupled with this
song will be tear-inducing -- but the obvious love contained in
this himage is really quite beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
--Scot
I love it! Its so cool the song is from the movie Trans Formers the
old one which is my favourite and I'm a big fan of the Defiant. So
the video is awesome!!!!!! -

Again a lot of reponse the last two months. This time again Youtube
responses. You can also enter comments in the
contact section.
All future plans are on hold for the moment, for private reasons.
Probably the whole month there will be no updates. If I'm lucky I
can do some small updates. But don't expect anything.
I'm still looking for people who do create music videos so I can add
them to the collection. Also stories or comments about my website
are welcome. If you write comments and you want that it will be in
the next newsletter, make sure you write more than a few words. All
ideas or comments can be send to me through the contact form, which
you can find
here. When you want to publish your music video you can do the
same.
This time in the subspace bulletin is the website "Trekcore.com".
What must I say, the banner says it all. It's a very large
website were you can find from all star trek series and
movies a lot of multimedia, screenshots and trailers. Beside
all those multimedia there's also a large BBS. A very
special part is are the specials. Here you can find rare
photos or images from the series and movies. All together
this is one of the largest and best Star Trek sites. You can find the site
here.
There was a lot of news around the new Star Trek movie. Aren't you
exited. Well I am. I can't wait until May 2009. But we've to wait a
while. It means that last month a lot of updates have been done.
Furthermore a several sections have been renewed.
The website is still growing and the number of visitors are rising
again. But next two month it will be less busy. Due to private
changes I have no time to update the website. I hope to do some
small updates, but don't expect anything. Have fun until then.
Greetings from Zwolle.
